It’s Valentine’s Day… the day of love. How much love are you getting from your clients? More importantly, how much love are you giving them?

When your clients love you, they turn their friends, family, neighbors, acquaintances into prospects for your business! Your mission today, is to make your current clients your “Valentines!’

Don’t ply them with chocolates & candy hearts. Give them something they will really find useful. Maybe a freebie, a report, a video, an upgrade. Something they will find awesomely unexpected.

Then what happens?

They talk about it! They put it on facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, their blog, etc. And people find out that your company was a “sweetheart” to work with! It’s one of the facets of reciprocity. You do something nice for them, they do something nice for you.

Update for 2012: One tip that worked like gangbusters for our clients is this :

“Giving our customers a tutorial on simple steps to take to assess the steps needed to reach a goal worked great! We had 122 new sign-ups to our email list! 17 became clients!”
